EEG Amendment 2020/2021

Kostenloses Webinar

Tuesday, August 04, 2020 | 2:00pm–3:00pm CEST | Webinar Language: German

Relief in the solar industry is great. The 52-GW cover has finally been brought down. And after the nuclear phase-out, the phase-out of coal-based power generation is now also legally sealed.

However, many more market barriers must now fall in order to fill the electricity generation gap that will open in 2023 with the help of photovoltaics and storage. At the same time, operators of existing solar power systems need a cost-covering and low-barrier connection perspective if they fall out of EEG funding after 20 years.

In this webinar, the German Solar Industry Association (BSW) will present the most important industry expectations in connection with the regular amendment to the EEG expected in autumn. He will present the results of a joint industry survey by BSW and The smarter E Europe and explain the most important political recommendations for upcoming legislative amendments that have been distilled out of an intensive consultation with the industry. At the same time, the advocacy group for the solar and battery storage industry will offer insights into the difficult current energy policy mix and deal with possible business risks associated with the EEG amendment.

During the webinar participants can submit their questions to get them answered by the experts in the live Q&A. In addition, both the recording and the speakers' presentations are made available to all registrants after the webinar.
