The Netherlands

I started my career in stand-alone (battery) PV systems in the mid-nineties and specialized in this direction for more than 7 years also staying in Africa during longer periods and working at the Fraunhofer ISE for over 3 years in research. After this I worked mostly with grid connected PV systems until the end of 2008. I added product responsibility for PV electrical analysing and monitoring tools as well as automated sizing tools for installers to reduce their workload and make the integration of renewable energy more easy. My present professional goal is the implementation of PV & storage systems in our fossil world and getting domestic and industrial energy as much as possible users independent from the grid. Now integrating storage is most important for the integration of renewable energies. Besides short term storage, seasonal storage is the key word. Specialties: Long term experience in grid-connected and stand-alone photovoltaic systems. Good general overview in all photovoltaic aspects.
