Intersolar Forum

The Intersolar Forum is part of The smarter E Europe, which takes place from 19–21 June, 2024. It will provide visitors to Intersolar Europe and the parallel exhibitions ees Europe, Power2Drive Europe and EM-Power Europe with a wide range of keynote presentations and best-practice examples on the latest topics and trends in the industry.

All about the new energy world – at the Intersolar Europe 2023 exhibition forum

The forum will be launched on June 14 in hall A3, with the Intersolar AWARD and the The smarter E AWARD 2023 nominees presenting their products and solutions. The two awards honor leading-edge projects in the award categories photovoltaics (PV) and PV integrated systems. In the following session, attendees will learn more about the combined transformation potential of the solar start-ups that will be showcasing their projects and products in exhibition hall B5. The forum’s presentation topic for Wednesday will be building-integrated photovoltaics, BIPV for short.

Under the motto “The dawn of the golden solar age in Europe” (Beginn des goldenen Solar-Zeitalters in Europa), EUPD Research and Joint Forces for Solar will welcome you on Thursday, June 13, to the presentation series Joint Forces for Solar Energy (Mit gemeinsamer Kraft für Solarenergie), which will be all about the exponential growth of the solar sector. This presentation series will provide attendees with an extensive overview of the latest forecasts and the most significant European solar markets, profitable business models as well as technological innovations. The Intersolar Forum will continue on Thursday afternoon with part two of the start-up pitches on innovations.

The French-German Office for Energy Transition (DFBEW) invites you to its session on agricultural PV in France and Germany, where it will be addressing the potentials, business models and best practices in both countries. On Friday morning, the German Solar Energy Society (DGS) will be hosting short presentations on a successful transition to solar energy, taking a look at the future of existing renewable energy generation systems and its various influencing factors as well as the transformation of our energy supply.

The industry’s enormous demand for specialists will be the key topic concluding the forum, with a session titled “Trade expertise and networking for newcomers and returnees” (Handwerkliche Expertise und Networking für Neueinsteiger und Wiederkehrer) In this session, the German Solar Association (BSW), the German Central Association of Electrical and Information Technology Contractors (ZVEH) and the German Central Association of the Roofing Trade (ZVDH) will provide interested companies and people from the roofing and electrical trade with information on opportunities identified by experienced companies as well as recommended actions for getting started on further training.
