The smarter E Europe will be setting up the Utility Lounge, an exclusive room for German and international utilities – a quiet oasis amid the hustle and bustle, yet still at the heart of the event. A place for in-depth discussions, networking and developing strategic partnerships.
The Utility Peer Exchange will take place here on the first two days of the exhibition. This new format encourages small rounds of conversation on an even playing field. In an inspiring short lecture, energy industry companies will explain how they successfully overcame challenges during their transition to renewable energy sources. After the lectures, there will be ample time for further discussion and networking. The sessions will cover four topics: rapid grid connection for renewables, demand-side flexibility, vehicle-to-grid and large-scale storage systems.
Guided tours will be available after the Utility Peer Exchange to give attendees an overview of the exhibition and an opportunity to explore technological solutions and meet suppliers in person. The tours will last about an hour.
Afterwards, you are invited to take a break in the Utility Lounge and enjoy its comfortable seating, refreshing drinks and tasty snacks – ideal for replenishing yourself or for deep conversations. What’s more, on June 25, 2026, the get-together for the winners of the Energy Transition AWARD will take place here.
