WPL, founded in Beijing, China in 2014, is a manufacturing enterprise specialized in laser technology. In the photovoltaic field, WPL provides laser photoluminescence defects inspection and penetration defects inspection of raw silicon wafers, processed cells and solar cells. In addition, our business areas also cover rail transit, industrial metallurgy, 3D vision and other areas to meet the application needs of users in complex environments.

WPL photovoltaic solutions use laser non-contact and non-destructive detection technology with high-speed industrial camera to inspect kinds of defects in the whole production process of solar cells. Therefore the occurrence of re-defects can be effectively avoided. It can improve the detectable rate of various defects and is beneficial to improve the yield of solar cells.

Various types of defects could be detected such as hidden crack, broken edge, black core, concentric circle, scratch, dirty marks etc. It is suitable for the raw silicon wafer or cells size such as 166mm,182mm, 210mm,230mm etc. Meantime, it can cover PERC, TOPCon, HJT process type.
