Individual company presentation

It is estimated that PV capacities will almost double between 2020 and 2024 in Europe. This makes it an interesting market for PV module manufacturers and retailers. For a quick and seamless market access, the products have to comply with different standards which follow the technical development and therefore adapt dynamically. For manufacturers it might be a challenge to keep the overview.

Market your PV modules fast and easy with the required certification.

At this year's Intersolar Europe, we want to prove how TÜV Rheinland's services can support manufacturers and retailers in this challenging environment. With our fast and professional processes we support the quick market access of your PV modules and products in accordance with the necessary certifications like IEC 61730.

For the North American market we developed high competencies and abilities through the past years. We are a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). In June 2022, OSHA accepted three additional UL solar standards: UL 61730 -1, UL 61730 -2 and UL 1703. Furthermore, we offer CAN/CSA-C22.2 certification with the cTUVus mark for photovoltaic products.

For PV Module Testing and Certification

  • Certification for the US market (UL 61730)
  • Characterization of PV modules and solar cell technologies, PAN-files, Reference modules
  • Quality Controlled PV
  • Solar Simulator Classification/Qualification
  • Qualification of shipping units for PV modules
  • Building Integrated PV (BIPV); Vehicle integrated PV (VIPV), AgriPV
