Individual company presentation

The Fördergesellschaft für Windenergie und andere Dezentrale Energien (FGW e.V.) is a non-profit organization that has been advocating for renewable energy since its establishment in 1985. Their motto is: “We connect the energy industry and standardize the technical language of decentralized and renewable energies. Together, we continuously reflect the current state of technology and influence global standardization work with our topics.”

FGW e.V. boasts over 100 members, including research institutions, measurement institutes, wind turbine manufacturers, planning and engineering offices, banks, insurance companies, as well as energy providers and new electricity suppliers. Their platform effectively integrates the technical, economic, and political aspects of wind energy utilization in Germany and beyond. The organization’s headquarters are located in Berlin .

FGW e.V. organizes significant events such as webinars, conferences, and member meetings to promote knowledge exchange and collaboration within the industry. Their contribution to standardization work helps enhance the quality and safety of decentralized and renewable energies worldwide.
