CATL is a global leading zero-carbon new energy innovative technology company, principally engaged in the R&D, production and sales of power batteries and energy storage batteries, aiming to promote the replacement of mobile fossil energy and stationary fossil energy, and to realize integrated innovation of market applications through electrification and intelligentization. The company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in June 2018 with the stock code 300750; in May 2025, CATL was listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited with the stock code 03750.HK, fueling the in-depth implementation of its global strategy.

Headquartered in Ningde, Fujian Province, CATL has built and put into operation 24 battery manufacturing bases worldwide. The Ningde, Yibin and Liyang bases have been recognized as Global Lighthouse Factories by the World Economic Forum, and the Yibin base was further awarded the Sustainability Lighthouse Certification in 2026. In 2025, the company fulfilled its climate commitments as scheduled, transforming all its battery plants into zero-carbon factories and achieving carbon neutrality in core operations, among which the Yibin base is the world’s first zero-carbon battery factory. CATL has set up subsidiaries in Munich (Germany), Paris (France), Yokohama (Japan), Detroit (USA) and other regions, building a robust service network covering 75 countries and regions worldwide with approximately 1,200 after-sales service stations.

CATL’s development goal is to replace the stationary and mobile energy systems dominated by traditional fossil energy with highly efficient power systems integrated with advanced batteries and renewable energies such as wind, solar and hydropower. Centering on electrification and intelligentization, the company pursues integrated innovation in market applications.

Taking innovation as the fundamental driver of development, CATL has established four major innovation systems: materials and material systems, system structure, green extreme manufacturing, and business models. By the end of 2025, the cumulative global installation of CATL’s power batteries has exceeded 24 million units, and its products have been sold to 75 countries and regions. Through extensive practical applications, the company has developed a unique R&D closed loop featuring cross-validation of R&D testing data and massive real-vehicle feedback. By driving technological innovation across the entire process including material R&D, product development, engineering design, testing and analysis, intelligent manufacturing, information systems and project management, CATL is leading the rapid digital and intelligent transformation of the battery industry.
