Shanxi City Power New Energy Co., Ltd. was founded in August 2017 and is located in Datong, Shanxi Province, China. The company is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, sales and operation of integrated energy storage systems. It has been recognized as a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative” enterprise in Shanxi Province. The company has a registered capital of RMB 90.5 million and operates a 1 GWh automated production line for power and energy storage battery Packs.

City Power focuses on technological innovation and product reliability in the energy storage sector. More than 30% of the company’s employees are engaged in research and development. The company has established close cooperation with well-known universities and research institutions, including North China Electric Power University, Wuhan University, Wuhan University of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Shanxi University, to jointly promote research and innovation in electrochemical energy storage technologies.

The company possesses the first CNAS-accredited new energy lithium battery testing laboratory in Shanxi Province and holds more than 30 patents related to battery safety, structural design and system integration. Through continuous technological innovation, City Power has developed strong capabilities in battery PACK manufacturing, system integration, performance testing and intelligent energy management.
