Industry News – Wednesday, August 26, 2020

A 93MW capacity PV power plant will be incorporated in the already existing 40MW wind farm, optimizing the land use as well as reducing CO2 emissions by about 56,000 tons per year. JA Solar has been active with PV projects in the country since 2011 and has been awarded with the “Best Market Performance Award” of South Korea/ESS Industry in 2019.

The wind-solar hybrid project will have a total capacity of 133MW and help to meet the country’s growing demand for clean and sustainable energy by generating 120 million kWh of electricity each year. This will bring an annual revenue of $25 million, converted.
