Home Solutions

The SMA Energy System Home is a one-stop shop for a complete system package with all hardware, software and service components for an independent energy supply for households worldwide. It includes single- and three-phase Sunny Boy and Sunny Tripower solar inverters up to 12 kW, integrated services, energy management solutions, storage systems with Sunny Island, Sunny Boy Storage and Sunny Tripower Storage battery inverters, and charging solutions for electric vehicles.

Commercial & Industrial Solutions

With the SMA Energy System Business, commercial enterprises can generate, store and sell solar power themselves, manage energy flows in the company transparently and cost-efficiently, and charge and manage e-vehicle fleets sustainably. In addition to the three-phase Sunny Tripower string inverters, the solutions include storage solutions for the commercial sector with the battery inverters Sunny Tripower Storage and Sunny Island as well as holistic energy management. Solutions for charging management and billing of e-vehicle fleets based on the ennexOS platform complete the offering.

Large-Scale & Project Solutions

The Sunny Highpower string inverters and Sunny Central central inverters are used in PV power plants from 100 kW to the megawatt range. Large PV and storage power plants worldwide are equipped with Sunny Central Storage batteries. Solutions for optimized hydrogen production as well as services for repowering and O&M services are also part of the SMA portfolio.

Mr. Kyle Ryan is a Senior Solar Engineer of RWE Renewables. He is responsible for coordinating project engineering activities and expertise during Development, Construction and Operation of solar photovoltaic plants, in Europe and Australia. He is also responsible for creating and maintaining specifications and processes to ensure quality and best practice in solar photovoltaic projects, across the international team. He has actively contributed to solar photovoltaic growth for the company, especially in the United Kingdom and Spain. He is now also the solar lead for hybrid plant design.
