Individual company presentation

Modern and innovative technologies "Made in Germany" ensure the continuation of our prosperity and the future of our children. Q3 has been active in the development and production of these technologies for more than 13 years.

PV Fireman's Switch & Connection Technology

Our customised fireman's switch QFire enables the central emergency shutdown of PV systems in combination with state-of-the-art connection technology and now offers a "cluster" technology for the central shutdown of large-scale PV systems. QFire is a flexible safety solution that can be individually planned and implemented, even for complex buildings. The area of safety & fire protection is of high importance and is intensively discussed!

Optionally, QFire can also evaluate the system status (on/off), last event messages, triggered overvoltage protection, string current, temperature, arc detection and automatic shutdown (under development). The results can either be displayed via simple indicator lights or transmitted to a higher-level control system via cable or other data transfer methods (e.g. LoRA, WLAN, etc.).

SmartFarm2 Research Project

In the first step, automated recommendations for the dimensioning of photovoltaics and storage were developed as an innovative solution for owners of farms or other SMEs for the dimensioning of producers in rural areas. At the moment, we are developing an AI-based optimisation of energy management to enable an even more efficient use of renewable energy. We are proud to be working on a pioneering solution that will help farm owners and other rural SMEs to improve their energy supply and save costs.

About Q3

We offer concepts for intelligent solutions and innovative services in the field of PV, self-sufficient power supply, secure communication technology, innovative sensor technology and modern data transmission.
