MecVel celebrated last year its 35th year of life! The company was born in Bologna in 1987, and from the very beginning, the focus has been designing, developing and producing electric linear actuators and mechanical screw jacks. Our technical department continuously refines our linear motion devices to match the clients' needs with the best and most intuitive solution. Electric linear actuators transform the rotatory motion of a motor into a linear movement, pushing, pulling, lifting or positioning loads even higher than 20 tons. MecVel products are used in the solar field to automate and control trackers' movements. It is possible to achieve a single and double axes system. For the single axe movement, one single actuator may be used to control an entire row of panels, while in the double axes configuration is not possible.
