INES is a world leader in the research and development of advanced solar photovoltaic technologies, their integration into electrical systems and intelligent energy management.

From proof of concept to technology transfer, the Institute supports industry.

The institute integrates 11 CEA laboratories and 2 joint research units of the University of Savoie Mont Blanc-CNRS. They bring their expertise to industry, from proof of concept to technology transfer.

INES is an innovation booster. It enables the successful transition from the laboratory to a marketable product or service.

In 2022, INES brings together 13 laboratories installed in 22,000 m2 of tertiary and technical facilities.

Training and expertise dedicated to territories and companies

INES Formation & Evaluation is the reference center for professional training in the solar industry: Photovoltaic, Thermal, Building-Energy and Environment.

More than 50 training courses, 350 m2 of teaching and technical facilities, 1400 m2 of demonstration areas.

INES Training and Expertise departement's experts help organizations to structure a solar industry in their territory, in the long term.
