Individual company presentation

The Energy Innovation Center (EIZ) is one of the largest structural change projects in Lusatia and has been accelerating the transformation in the region for two years now. Under the motto “Regional focus, global impact: innovative solutions for the energy transition”, the project has established itself as a successful research and innovation center. As a bridge between science and industry, almost 100 scientists at the EIZ work together with more than 50 companies and research institutions to develop innovative solutions and technologies for a climate-neutral energy supply in Lusatia and worldwide. The EIZ is based at the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) and is being funded with up to 102 million euros for up to 10 years. In addition to internationally recognized cutting-edge research and the training of specialists and managers, the transfer of knowledge and technologies from the EIZ to industry is a key objective.
