Scott Phillips is a Vice President – Senior Analyst and is primarily responsible for the analytical coverage of the European automotive suppliers portfolio and several construction and manufacturing companies. Additionally, Scott is one of Moody’s spokespersons for its Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) related activities.
Previously, Scott worked at BlackRock Investment Management in London, as part of the credit research team and was responsible for the fundamental analysis of around 80 utilities and oil & gas companies for a variety of different investment funds. Scott also previously worked at Moody’s having been a member of the EMEA Infrastructure Finance team in London where he was responsible for a portfolio of regulated and unregulated utility companies in the United Kingdom.
Prior to that, Scott worked for two different investment banks – Dresdner Kleinwort and UniCredit – as an equity research analyst covering the European utility markets.
Scott has a degree in Molecular & Cellular Biochemistry from the
University of Oxford.
