Eran Meller is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ecoppia. With co-founder Moshe Meller he shares over 30 patents in various industries. He co-founded Ecoppia in 2011 with Moshe after reading an article in The Economist discussing the increasing need for smart and scalable solutions to PV panel cleaning at utility-scale solar installations.
Prior to Ecoppia, Eran acted as senior officer to several companies and startups including as CFO of Telmap (acquired by Intel), CFO of X-Tip (acquired by DentSply International), CFO of Info-X (acquired by 3M) and CFO/COO of MTI Precision Products (sold in a leveraged buyout).
Earlier in his career Eran worked with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and was responsible for a portfolio of over $100M in Ghana, Nigeria, Malawi and Zambia. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a Masters in Economic Policy Management from the Columbia School of International Affairs, and a B.A in Economics and Management from the Technion, completing all three degrees with distinction.
