Country Showcase South Africa: Investment Opportunities for Manufacturers and Suppliers in a Booming Solar Market

A side event of the energy partnership Germany/South Africa in cooperation with BSW-Solar.

South Africa’s PV market has experienced an unprecedented boom and is now the tenth largest in the world. As such, the country offers opportunities for production and investments through solid domestic demand, opportunities to export to the EU and the rest of the world.
The German-South African energy partnership will host a presentation event for South Africa, which will provide industry representatives with the chance to meet South African government representatives and industry experts and discuss recent developments and the resulting manufacturing and investment opportunities.

Target group

Manufacturers, including equipment manufacturers, along the PV value chain; especially German and European companies interested in the South African market.

Goals of the event

• Learn about recent developments and forecasts of the South African PV market
• Discover investment opportunities along the PV value chain in South Africa
• Discuss with South African industry experts and officials
