The goal of the startup Solevi GmbH is to make the imaging electroluminescence inspection (EL inspection) of photovoltaic systems more efficient using unmanned aerial vehicles ("drones").

This should enable cost-effective operation and improve image quality. We already have a measurement system that uses current camera and multicopter technology (DJI Matrice) and we work on a data acquisition and analysis system through which a high degree of automation shall be achieved.

In this way, we aim to help drone-based EL inspection achieve a commercial breakthrough. New service markets will be enabled, especially the inspection of photovoltaic roof installations in residential and industrial areas.

In addition, a new service product will be created, the "EL commissioning check", which can also include a "diode check". In addition, we will be able to subsequently create string plans in the shortest possible time.
