9. Edition of International Technology Roadmap for Photovoltaic (ITRPV). How do equipment and PV manufacturers cope with increasing requirements and lower prices?

The photovoltaic (PV) industry needs to provide power generation products that can compete with both conventional energy sources and other renewable sources of energy. The ITRPV is to inform suppliers and customers about anticipated technology trends in the field of crystalline silicon (c-Si) photovoltaics and to stimulate discussion on required improvements and standards.

The learning curve for module price as a function of cumulative shipments show continually decreasing prices. In this Workshop we will present results of the 9th Edition ITRPV and discuss with the industry of equipment, cell and module manufacturers how they cope with this trend and what could be the strategy for a successful technology and market development?

We have put together a panel of experts from companies like APPLIED MATERIALS, Hanwha Q CELLS, Levitech, RENA, Semco Technologies, Suzhou Maxwell Automation Equipment and Tempress Systems.

You are welcome to participate!
