Nikolai Dobrott founded Apricum in 2008 to help companies navigate the strategic and financial challenges
of the global renewable energy transition. He has led major solar market-entry projects for multinational
corporations, advised governments across the USA, Germany, Mexico, and the Middle East, and
supported a range of M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector.
His expertise spans renewable energy technologies, corporate finance, and strategic business development
at a company, country, and regional level, across solar, wind, and the broader clean energy sector. He was
named among the top 250 decision makers in Who's Who in MENAT Renewables 2017.
Prior to founding Apricum, he held leadership roles in consulting and industry, including positions at
Arthur D. Little, Rütgers (now Evonik), and Invest in Germany. He holds a master's degree in business
administration and chemical engineering from the Technical University of Berlin.
