In Germany, the anticipated legislative changes in solar energy are being awaited with both excitement and considerable uncertainty: the planned EEG reform in 2027 and the accompanying grid package aim to integrate renewable energy more strongly into the electricity system through greater market integration, while also minimizing deficits in the power grid through regional steering effects. What consequences these changes will have for the PV industry as well as for PV system operators will be explained in this event, organized by the German Solar Industry Association (BSW-Solar e.V.).
