Dirk Grossmann

Dirk Großmann, after completing his studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, Germany, he was employed for six years at ETAS, four years in the devel-opment of realtime operating systems and two years as product manager in the U.S. Since 2003 he has been working at Vector Informatik in Stuttgart in the department for Embedded Software Development. Since 2008 he was additionally responsible as a group manager for the TCP/IP basic software, including the responsibility for the OnBoard- and OffBoardCharger software according to ISO/IEC 15118 and DIN SPEC 70121. Since 2016 he took over the responsibility as group manager within the embedded research department, still leading the overall E-Mobility activities within Vector. In 2019 Dirk took over the responsibility for E-Mobility infrastructure products within Vector as Senior Director.
He is an active member of the ISO/IEC 15118 JWG1 since 2009 and is the convenor of this group since 2018. Besides this he is also representing Vector within CharIN e.V. and a member of the CharIN steering committee. In 2026 Dirk was elected as Board Member and Treasurer of CharIN.
