Adolf Goetzberger Award 2026: Applications Open Until End of November

Developers, researchers, and entrepreneurs have until November 30, 2025, to apply for the Adolf Goetzberger Award 2026. Endowed with €25,000, the award presented by the Adolf Goetzberger Foundation honors individual achievements that combine technological excellence with practical impact and social relevance. The foundation is seeking innovative concepts, prototypes, or processes for harnessing solar energy. In addition to power and heat generation from solar energy, the focus areas include energy storage, power electronics, smart grid integration, efficiency enhancement, and cross-sector system solutions. Key selection criteria include a measurable contribution to the sustainable transformation of the energy system.

The award ceremony will take place in spring 2026 during the 41st PV Symposium in Bad Staffelstein, held from March 3 to 5, 2026. The foundation specifically invites pioneers in the field to showcase their solutions to a broader audience.
