Mr. Joscha Rosenbusch is an advisor at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) mbH. Since January 2016 he has been working in a Mexico-German cooperation program on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Mexico to support the deployment of large scale solar energy. The program is implemented in the framework of the German Climate Technology Initiative (DKTI) and focusses in particular on innovative solutions, technology transfer and the cooperation with German institutions.
Previously, Mr. Rosenbusch was seconded by the BMZ to the German Solar Association (BSW-Solar) as EZ-Scout. Here, he initiated collaborations between solar companies, BSW-Solar and the implementing organizations of the official German development cooperation like GIZ, DEG and Sequa.
From 2010 to 2013, Mr. Rosenbusch supported the Federal Environment Ministry (BMUB) as internal GIZ-Advisor in the establishment of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
Mr. Rosenbusch is a political scientist and a certified expert in climate and renewable energy financing.
