Iwan is very active with the Clean Energy and Sustainability Group advising on biomass, solar, wind and tidal energy projects.

Iwan has extensive experience advising on Clean Energy project globally. He has advised on projects in MENA, Asia, South America and North America. Iwan has most recently advised on solar pv projects in Egypt, Iran and Jordan.

Iwan has previously advised buyers and sellers in relation to onshore wind farm projects in Europe together with bidders on the Round 2 and Round 3 offshore wind farm projects in the UK.

Iwan lead the Eversheds team that advised BNP Paribas (now Glennmont) on its acquisition and financing of the 38mw Sleaford biomass plant from ECO2 and the acquisition of the Teeside 40mw biomass plant from ECO2 and Temporis is a £160m transaction. Iwan also advised ECO2 and the other sellers in a landmark £170m transaction disposal of the Snetterton biomass project to Pension Denmark in a £160 million transactions.

Iwan's clients range from utilities, private equity and infrastructure funds to banks and developers.

Iwan advises on all aspects of corporate law and has experience of handling both public and private mergers and acquisitions.
Iwan has acted for a large number of UK and foreign-owned business and has advised on a number of high-profile domestic and international transactions and spent two years working in Hong Kong.

Iwan worked in London and Hong Kong for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before joining Eversheds in January 2007.
