Tim van Amstel holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Eindhoven and is specialised in thermal fluid technology. He has more than ten years of experience in various areas along the value chain of the energy industry.

Mr van Amstel has held several positions at Powerhouse, RWE AG and Innogy, among others. He is experienced in building scalable digital SaaS energy strategies and has held various strategic, financial and operational roles as a digital director and board member. Since 2022, he brings this expertise to E.ON One GmbH as Chief Executive Officer. Following the launch of E.ON One, Mr van Amstel is now in charge of developing the organization and defining its growth strategy. E.ON One bundles E.ON's own products with solutions from innovative start-ups in one ecosystem and makes them available to businesses, communities and individuals. Its mission is to provide and sell technologies that support the energy transition.
