Since 2008, Rutger Schlatmann is director of the institute PVcomB at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin. He is also full professor for solar photovoltaics technology at the Hochschule fuer Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin (since 2012). He focuses multijunctions based on perovskite on SHJ Si or CIGS bottom cells. His interests range from cells and modules to production technologies and outdoor systems, especially building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) as well integrated PV/Electrolysis systems to produce ´solar fuels´.
