Algirdas Ducinskas is an R&D specialist at PVcase, a next-generation PV software company
offering tools for faster and more accurate planning, design, and optimization of solar PV
systems. Algirdas earnt his PhD degree in Physical Chemistry at the Ècole Politechnique
Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. He investigated fundamental properties of perovskite
semiconductors, which were applied in solar cells. On top of that, Algirdas Ducinskas was
involved in multiple research projects focusing on energy storage technologies.
At PVcase, Algirdas is responsible for the development, implementation and validation of novel
simulation algorithms applied for the energy yield assessment of large-scale PV projects.
