Head of Finance Europe
As the Head of Finance Europe, you will be responsible for managing and directing the finance operations of the company's European Region. You will work closely with other senior executives to develop and implement financial strategies and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will be a with a proven track record of successful finance management and a deep understanding of European multi-country operating environment. The Head of Finance will report to the General Manager of Europe and Global Finance Director in China. This position will also closely coordinate with other Business Unit Leaders, Sales teams and other team members.
the Role:
Manage and direct financial operations, including Budgeting, Accounting, Controlling, forecasting, Cash flow management, and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including tax, accounting, and legal requirements
Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior executives to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement in financial processes and systems
Manage and mentor a team of financial professionals to ensure high performance and growth
Interface to HQ Finance Function
Build relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
Provide guidance and expertise to the finance team and other departments on financial matters
You:
Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior role
Proven track record of successful financial management in a complex multinational organization
Deep understanding of European markets and regulations
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing international teams ideally in an Asian company
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
Fluency in English and German, additional European languages preferred
