European research institutes are at the forefront of solar cell research and the results speak for themselves: perovskite-silicon cells, clean room TOPCon and IBC cells are breaking efficiency records. Lab results are promising, making the future of photovoltaics look bright. Bringing clean room technologies to production lines is going to be the next step.
