The Intersolar Europe Conference will focus on markets, technologies and financing for PV projects. As well as market development in Europe, this year experts will particularly be shining a light on markets in Africa and in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa).PV power plants will be another central topic. The International Energy Agency (IEA) is organizing a workshop on performance and operational reliability, as well as systems operations and maintenance. Another session will provide participants with more in-depth insights into the opportunities created by digitalization for the operational control of PV installations.
Several sessions will be dedicated to the interplay between PV installations and energy storage – whether in residential buildings or for commercial and industrial purposes. Experts will explain how these systems can be planned, set up and optimized. Other discussions will focus on operational control and business models. New PV applications, including systems integrated into buildings, mounted over agricultural land or installed on water, will also be a special focus at this year’s Intersolar Europe Conference. The buzzwords are building-integrated PV, agricultural PV and floating solar farms.
The conference ticket gives participants access to the three other specialist conferences held as part of the innovative platform The smarter E Europe: the Smart Renewables Systems Conference, the ees Europe Conference and the Power2Drive Europe Conference.
