Dr. Jörg Leonhardt studied electronics & electrical engineering, graduated in 1984 and achieved the academic degree Dr.-Ing. at the Technical University Dresden in 1992.
From 1984 to 1990 he was employed as project manager in the semiconductor industry, developing integrated circuits and related measurement systems.
In 1990 he moved to the field of factory automation and automotive industries at SEW-EURODRIVE and AMK. During that time he was in charge of innovation management and R&D topics such as development of drives & controls, various inverters and electric powertrains for e-mobility.
In 2013 he joined KACO new energy. Since then he is responsible for strategic PV- and Storage system development and technology research projects in the field of renewable energy systems.
