Sascha Lindig received the B.Eng. degree in photovoltaic and semiconductor technologies from the University of Applied Science Jena, Germany, in 2011 and the M.Eng. degree in environmental and energy engineering from the HTWK Leipzig, Germany, in 2014. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical engineering at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in collaboration with EURAC Research, Bolzano, Italy. He is working in the frame of the Marie Sklodowska Curie SOLAR-TRAIN project on statistical performance loss models of PV systems, degradation patterns and solar economics.
