Utility-Scale Solar Power II: Quality, Reliability & Performance

Tuesday, June 13, 2023
Time
04:30 pm - 06:00 pm
Hall
ICM München
Room
Room 14 A

While new-generation PV modules come with a 30-year performance warranty and lower degradation rates, the high innovation speed of solar technology, constant product changes due to material supply constraints and heavy cost pressure are casting doubt on the quality and reliability of solar system technology, in particular for multi-million, large-scale solar power plants.

This session will discuss:

  • Quality and reliability concerns for solar power plant technology
  • Procurement strategies for solar system components
  • Best practices for quality control
  • How to decarbonize the grid with 24/7 renewable energy supply
  • Why the first big corporates are asking for 24/7 renewable energy supply
