After a spell of stagnation, the European PV market is back! Currently in a growth phase expected to continue beyond 2020, the market's recovery is due in no small part to the EU's Clean Energy Package. However, marked cost improvements, the emergence of corporate renewable PPAs, and new innovations and applications have also helped to revitalize the market. This session will explore how the European solar PV market is expected to evolve in the years ahead, considering among other aspects the emergence of merchant solar, innovative business models, and the need to tackle climate change.
