In 2011, the numbers of newly installed photovoltaic systems in Germany, Italy, China and many other countries worldwide set record highs. These substantial levels of growth present the solar industry with new challenges and potential for development. In order to take the greatest advantage of the opportunities this technology provides for future energy supply, the solar industry is working at full steam to produce new solutions – for grid integration, the storage of solar power and much more besides.

Following a successful launch in 2011, the second edition of the PV ENERGY WORLD Special Exhibit at Intersolar Europe 2012 again showcases the latest developments and pioneering solutions, in hall C4, booth C4.230. The topic clusters of Electricity Storage and Grid Integration allow visitors to learn more about state-of-the-art technology and the solutions of the future.
